Chris Hemsworth knows how to pack a punch.
After all, the Thor actor rang in his 40th birthday with some intense festivities, which included a practice boxing session after the big day.
In a clip posted to Instagram, a shirtless Hemsworth is seen sparing with a fitness partner in an indoor gym and outdoor area. As the two men boxed, Hemsworth rapidly landed a few jabs to his partner's gloves.
Hemsworth captioned the Aug. 15 clip, "Sweating off the birthday cake with @Centr."
Indeed, Hemsworth enjoyed tons of birthday cake on Aug. 11, when he posted a photo on Instagram of him alongside two chocolate confections adorned with Happy Birthday candles.
"Thank you for all the birthday wishes!" he wrote. "Another lap around sun and still goin strong! I can safely say not a single piece of cake made it through the night."
However, the best gift yet may have come in the form of a sweet card his daughter India Rose, 11, drew for him. (Hemsworth shares India, as well as 9-year-old twin boys Sasha and Tristan with wife of 12 years Elsa Pataky.)
"Happy 40th dad," India wrote in her card. "I love you more than enything [sic] and I love you times infinity."
The family love, however, didn't stop there. Pataky also marked the occasion by sharing a photo of Chris looking flabbergasted while in the stands of what appeared to be a sporting event.
"That's exactly the face a made when I turned 40 my love," the Fast & Furious actress captioned her Aug. 11 Instagram post. "But don't worry, it's gonna be ok! I'll be here for you too hold your hand and give you all my beauty secrets, even if you look better than ever. Happy birthday @chrishemsworth!"
